Finally we had this dinner at my house on sunday which I was trying to plan since Feb. After 4 months, we managed to gather everyone, oh well almost everyone to come over. Shin, Faith, Jada, Dulc and Danny, the usual gang came over and I made spring chicken la mian soup, dumplings and a veggie dish made by my mom.
The kids love the dumpings, at least I have learned something from ahwoo which taste nice after I made it. The spring chicken didn't have hungkan's taste, it tastes so different. I miss the one hungkan made, smells so nice and very yummy. Best dish to have in the winter! Sob Sob!
The kids started digging my dvd/ vcd box and borrowed many movies from me which are mainly HK films. Hopefully they all return me after a few months, I pray, and not after a few years like miss jada seet, haha! That woman borrowed "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for two years since i last passed to her at Switz on my holiday trip to visit her when she was out station for business over there. She didn't even watch, so I took it back from her only recently bk in sg and lent her again when she begged me for it again. Well just her luck, the disc tripped halfway, what a shame. But luckily Danny has that movie as well. I love the scene when Audrey sings Moon River, her voice was beautiful and I love the deco of her apartment in the movie. So 60s, so retro, what a classic!
Faith is going away next month to work in Switz and we all gonna miss her. Just hope she will learn to cope with her frowns and stress whenever she has problems. It will be a good experience for her to be more independent and become a stronger person.

Well, after I went to study, I realise I became a weaker person actually, haha! Now i refuse to apply jobs overseas or thinking about studying my MA in near future cos I hate to deal with everything myself. But I have to start being sensible, hehe, have to help out a bit more for the house.
