Asia is also going crazy for the "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" by Anya Hindmarch. She first launched this eco bag to encourage people to use less plastic bags in Sainsbury supermarket.

Ebay was flooded with this bag listing. When the bag was just launched, UK went crazy over the bag and was snapped up in no time. The bag went as high as £100+ in auction on eBay UK and originally it cost only £5. In HK, it went as high as S$500+.
I just watched the news and they mention when the bag was launched in Taipei, there was a huge commotion outside the departmental store. The people went crazy, there were pushing, fighting and arguing. People were out of control, tripped and stepped over each other. One guy was pretty ridiculous. He was arguing with a lady, the two exchanged anguish stares and nasty words. The guy even flipped the lady's hat and shouting at her face like a mad dog. I thought that was pretty rude. I mean its just a bag. Furthermore you are a man, don't you find yourself silly to fight over a bag. Is this all worth it to lose your cool on live tv news?
In HK, people were queuing overnight to purchase the bag. Next month, Anya Hindmarch will bring in this bag to Singapore at the price of S$24 each. I wonder Singaporeans will turn ugly over one cloth bag? I think we probably won't but there bound to be a long queue for sure, haha! 10 years ago there was a commotion over Hello Kitty soft toys from Mcdonalds, now 10 yrs later we might be gaga over this eco bag. Most people just wanna invest on a small amount over something and make money from auctioning/ selling.
Today is 07/07/07, 777 couples got married today in Singapore. That's cute. And today there are 7 countries participating "Save The Earth" concert campaign. Quite a happening day globally!
