Camp Camp

Phew, luckily last friday didn't rain. We went camping at Pasir Ris for Joelle's bday and Yann's belated bday celebration. It was pretty fun! We bought the ready marinated food and drinks from Cheers nearby to BBQ. It was very convenient. Look at the block of chicken, it took us awhile to thaw that thing. Tan managed to get the fire started. I still remember 3 years ago, that miserable BBQ we had at my chalet during my bday. We couldn't even cook our food properly because of lousy starters we had.

Despite the long wait from ICA when I was collecting my new passport. 3 hrs of back torturing (still hurts) but I did survive through the whole night sleeping on the grass ground in the tent. This is my virgin camp, haha, as I had never camped outdoors before. Jialat right, well I'm a city gal what! We were grateful that the weather was great and we saw sunrise after 2 hrs of short rest in the morning. Well ah Tng and Joelle slept like pigs after 2am. Yann, Tan and I were chatting non stop till 4am+.

Ting came for a while to join our Mcdonalds meal as we were too hungry to wait for the BBQ food, so I suggested to buy some ready food for dinner first. Madame Cheong kept complaining she was hungry, preggies... ... I even brought my mom's home made fried rice for lunchbox. I was so hungry that when Tan was at the Shell station to add petrol to her car, I ate half a lunchbox and a milo in less than 5mins. Yess, I was that hungry. Hehe!
